About Anjé McLish LPC, KIC, CNM
Anjé knows what it’s like to make oneself as small as possible to meet other’s needs, and helps her clients live in their full, unapologetic authenticity. The core of her work is the development of connection, communication, and self-empowerment with yourself and with others. She uses attachment and emotion-focused skills to help clients develop an intentional awareness about what’s happening inside so that it can become easier for them to make decisions about what’s happening outside and begin to make choices about the way they interact with the world.
As a certified, kin-informed and consensual non-monogamy professional, Anjé enjoys working with folx on their communication skills, exploring kink/BDSM, navigating non-monogamy, and building emotional closeness. Along with sex therapy, her expertise includes anxiety and people-pleasing, helping folx to lean into the discomfort of expressing their needs in their interpersonal relationships and surrounding themselves with people in alignment with their values.
Anjé works from a social justice perspective, recognizing how systems of white supremacy, patriarchy and oppression influence the health and wellbeing of marginalized folx, and how to cultivate joy and pleasure into everyday life in light of these systems.
